RD Watch (coming 4th quarter of 2014) 

RemoteDash offers a full suite of monitoring products through our RD Watch product line. Monitoring products are distinguished from tracking products in that they primarily go on non-moving assets, or infrequently moved assets (like most industrial assets). Although all our RD Watch products provide GPS functionality, their main function is to monitor and wirelessly transmit signal data from the asset. These “signals” could come from a serial port, a digital interface, an analog interface, an electronic bus…essentially any type of interface that is built in to the monitored asset. If some measurement – such as pressure, temperature, rpm, power – can be displayed locally, its very likely our standard RD Watch products can access this data and place it on the Internet for display on your smart phone, tablet, PC, etc. Some of the standard interfaces we support include RS-232, Modbus, J1939, OBDII, analog, and digital. Also, our standard products provide power and ground relays that can turn on and off power components such as a motor or engine.

Our cellular RD Watch products can also provide real-time functionality. This enables you to monitor the signals from the asset with no delay, just as if you were there at the asset. Although our standard RD Watch products support the standard data interfaces, it is not unusual for a monitoring application to have unique requirements that are not supported by standard products. We recognize this and have designed our system – including our hardware and Internet software- so that we can customize our solutions to unique requirements. RDAsset Watch
RDAsset Watch is our cellular RD Watch product. It monitors the data at the asset and can provide it to your smart phone, tablet, or PC in real-time. Like all our RD Watch products, the data is also saved to our database for historical review.

RDSatellite Watch
RDSatellite Watch provides satellite backup to the cellular solution (RDAsset Watch). It can optionally be a satellite only solution.

RDRemote Watch
RDRemote Watch is our monitoring application that does not require an external battery. It is powered by solar. It comes in cellular, dual-mode, or satellite only configurations.
